Are You A College Student Interested In Ministry?

The Launch Mission is starting an Intern Program to give two college students an inside look at a non-profit ministry! As a TLM intern, you will work to further the mission of preparing students for the challenges of life after high school AND get trained and mentored in the essentials of ministry development and longevity. 

Interns will focus on content creation, production, research, and networking while learning the ins and outs of running a non-profit ministry. They will also receive weekly mentorship from the founder. Weekly tasks will include:

  • Provide input on the content calendar for the podcast and blog, as well as longer term projects. Research topics to be included in the content calendar for blog, podcast, and social media.
  • Assist in the release of a weekly podcast episode, with opportunities for co-hosting duties. No advanced tech knowledge needed. 
  • Coordinate with participating churches and campus ministries to update the 3C Database, as well as connecting with new campus ministries and local churches to grow the Database. 
  • Reach out to schools and churches for ministry partnership and developing our network of influence. 
  • Develop video content for social media on your college campus and provide imput on overall content direction. 
  • Participate in a weekly call for a staff meeting and an intern training Zoom meeting to include ministry training and mentoring. Training topics include calling, ministry development, fund-raising, networking, leadership, team dynamics, and more. 

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for applicants who are either called to ministry or are exploring ministry as a calling and career.

  • Must be currently enrolled in college and have completed at least two semesters by May 2025.
  • Must demonstrate Christian character that is evident to those they interact with.
  • Ideal for students considering a future career in ministry within a church or para-church organization.
  • Seeking mature, mission-minded, self-motivated, and visionary-thinking Christian college students.

Skills Needed:

  • Creative and innovative with Big Picture Thinking. 
  • Technologically knowledgeable of current online and applications for content and production. 
  • Ability to speak and write well.
  • Administrative abilities to schedule, research, and manage networking contacts.

NOTE TO APPLICANTS: We are not looking for two identical individuals who fit all of these skills and abilities, but rather a team of two that can complete these tasks as a whole. We will want to know what you bring to the table to accomplish these tasks and responsibilities.

References:

All applicants must have two references. These references will each send a letter of recommendation to [email protected] by June 6, 2025.

  • One reference must be from a ministry leader, from the applicant’s high school or college years. This can be someone on staff at a church or campus ministry, but should be someone who can speak about the applicant’s faith, ministry involvement, and overall fit for this position. 
  • The other reference needs to be from a current college student that is a friend and can speak about the applicant’s character and walk with Christ. 

IMPORTANT:

Interns will work 15 hours per week (60 hours a month), from August 1, 2025 to May 31, 2026. Flexibility will be given for holidays and time off. Once hired, both interns will be expected to do fund-raising for 50% of income. You will be taught how to do this and this process will begin in mid June before your start date on August 1st. Each intern will be paid $1000/month and expected to raise 50% of that total ($5000). Interns will be 1099 employees. This is a remote position.
