Preparation for a defining season of life.
Founded in 2010, The Launch Mission prepares students for the challenges of life after high school. Through a Christ-centered lens, we use content, training, and resources to partner with parents and ministry leaders to equip students in three primary areas.

THE STORY BEHIND THE MISSION
A personal challenge became a ministry calling.
Tommy McGregor entered college after growing up in a strong Christian home and church. Even with that foundation, he struggled to connect with Christian community and continue growing in his faith.
When he became a youth pastor, that experience shaped the way he prepared graduating seniors. He began spending extra time with them, sharing what he had learned and helping them prepare for the transition ahead.
In 2010, after sixteen years in youth ministry, he founded TheTransMission to focus on life after high school. The ministry became The Launch Mission in 2022, continuing the same commitment to students, parents, and leaders.

The first resource
Lost in Transition was first published to help students become spiritually prepared for college.
2010
The ministry begins
TheTransMission was founded on October 1 to train leaders, equip parents, and prepare students.
2022
The Launch Mission
On its twelfth anniversary, the ministry adopted a new name that reflects its continuing mission.
Today, that work continues through The Launch Mission Podcast, The Launch Pad Blog, books, curriculum, coaching, and resources for students and the people who guide them.
