If you have already listened to The Launch Mission Podcast this week you have heard the interview with Trace Hamiter of The Oaks Collaborative. The Oaks Collaborative is a ministry that hosts summer retreats for incoming college students. They Partner with local churches and campus ministries to help connect incoming college students to Christ and to Christ-centered community. They do this by launching 3-day, 2-night retreats before classes start that are led by upperclassmen and focused on living for Christ in college.

“Who’s gonna be there?” This is possibly the most important question to answer before committing to an event of any kind. The reason this question is important is because we are all wired with a need to be with other people. We were made for relationships and we long for them to be meaningful.
