Welcome To The Launch Mission

The LAUNCH Mission focuses on three groups to provide content and guidance through online & print resources, personal coaching & training, and networking communities.
We seek to guide high school juniors and seniors, and college freshman & sophomores, by providing resources that center around our four major transitional components: faith development, life management, community, and goal setting, We do this through online content (podcast, blog), online and live events, and printed and digital resources.

Career Discovery For Students
Moving on from high school & starting college is a huge step in the process of becoming the person that you were made to be. This takes vision, and wisdom, and the more time you take to learn about who you are, the clearer that vision will become. The years between the start of the junior year in high school and the end of the third semester of college are considered a student’s “Discovery Season” for a career. This is a time to do research and explore the career options that match the student’s personality. interests, skills, and values.

We are constantly building a network of youth ministry leaders and school guidance/college counselors to better equip those on the front lines of mentoring high school students. We have regular e-newsletters each group as well as free resources and training.

Quarterly Newsletter
Every quarter, we send a single-page email newsletter to a list of church student pastors and another list of Christian school counselors. This publication is meant to inform these mentors on The Launch Mission’s current happenings, in an effort to further partners with these ministry leaders. If you would be interested in receiving one of these emails, go to the Mentors link in the main menu for a link to subscribe. The emails traditionally go out in February, May, August, and November.

Youth Pastor Training
Bridging The Gap is a 6-session course designed for student ministry leaders who want to better equip their students for life after high school. This course tackles two essential questions: Why is the transition after high school so difficult for teenagers, What can ministry leaders do to help?
By the end of this course, you’ll have a clear, actionable plan to structure your ministry in a way that prepares students—not just seniors, but every age group—for the challenges ahead.

TLM Intern Program
After 15 years of ministry, The Launch Mission is starting an Intern Program for the 2025-2026 academic year. We will hire two college students to serve as interns and spend the year getting an inside look at the workings of a non-profit ministry. We plan to hire this summer so that interns can start in August. Both interns will be trained, mentored, and overseen by TLM founder, Tommy McGregor. For more details for this opportunity, click on the link below and feel free to ask any questions that you may have.

Faith and Freedom
Transitioning to college is often marked by newfound freedom. For the first time, many students find themselves making decisions without the immediate oversight of parents or familiar accountability. This freedom is exhilarating but also comes with significant responsibility. How we use this freedom can shape the trajectory of our lives.

Finding Purpose Through Adversity
Life often places us in moments that feel like dead ends. We face heartbreak, failure, or unexpected roadblocks that disrupt the paths we imagined. In those moments, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed or question our purpose. But what if those closed doors are part of something greater? What if God uses adversity to shape and guide us in ways we could never foresee?

The Will Grindle Story
In this episode, Will Grindle shares his journey from high school to college, discussing the challenges he faced, the importance of faith, and the lessons learned along the way. He reflects on his experiences in sports, the search for acceptance, and the pivotal moments that shaped his life. Will emphasizes the significance of mentorship, accountability, and reliance on God
