So… What Exactly Is Campus Outreach?

As you prepare for college, you’ll hear about all kinds of student organizations and campus groups. One ministry you may come across is Campus Outreach.

So what exactly is it?

Campus Outreach is a Christian campus ministry that exists to help students build a relationship with Christ, grow in their faith, and learn how to invest in others. Their mission focuses on making disciples—helping students grow spiritually while equipping them to encourage and lead others as well.

One of the things that makes Campus Outreach unique is its emphasis on intentional relationships. Through Bible studies, small groups, mentorship, conferences, retreats, and leadership development opportunities, students are encouraged to grow in their faith alongside other students who are pursuing the same goal.

College is filled with opportunities that will shape who you become. The people you spend time with, the habits you develop, and the communities you join can all influence your experience. Campus Outreach seeks to provide students with a Christ-centered community where they can grow, ask questions, and develop a faith that extends beyond their college years.

As we continue our Campus Ministry Spotlight series, our hope is that you’ll become more familiar with the different ministries that may be available on your campus. Whether Campus Outreach ends up being your community or not, knowing your options before arriving on campus can help you start college with confidence.
