If you’re getting ready for college, you’ve probably started hearing the names of different campus ministries. One you may come across is InterVarsity.
So…what exactly is it?
InterVarsity is a Christian campus ministry that helps college students grow in their relationship with Jesus, study the Bible, build authentic friendships, and learn how to live out their faith in everyday life. Their mission is to reach every corner of every campus, welcoming students from all backgrounds while encouraging them to become lifelong followers of Christ.
One of the things that makes InterVarsity unique is its commitment to helping students engage with Scripture in practical ways. Through small group Bible studies, large group gatherings, leadership opportunities, service projects, and mission experiences, students are encouraged to ask questions, grow spiritually, and build meaningful relationships with others who are pursuing Jesus.
College is filled with new experiences, and it can be easy to let your faith become just one more thing competing for your attention. Ministries like InterVarsity create spaces where you can stay rooted, build genuine friendships, and continue growing in your relationship with God throughout your college journey.
