If you’re anything like most incoming freshmen, you’ve probably asked yourself questions like…
“What if I don’t make friends?”
“What if I choose the wrong major?”
“What if I don’t fit in?”
“What if college isn’t what I expected?”
Here’s the good news:
You don’t have to have all the answers before move-in day.
It’s easy to think everyone else has a perfect plan. Social media makes it look like everyone is confident, excited, and completely prepared.
They’re not.
Most freshmen arrive on campus with questions, insecurities, and uncertainty. The difference isn’t whether someone feels nervous—it’s whether they’re willing to take one step at a time.
This summer, instead of trying to control every detail of your future, focus on preparing your heart.
Spend time with the people you love. Stay connected to God through prayer and Scripture. Reflect on what you hope your college experience becomes—not just academically, but spiritually and personally.
College isn’t about having everything figured out on day one.
It’s about trusting God enough to take the next step.
And that’s something you can start practicing today.
