Campus Outreach’s vision is to glorify God by building laborers on campuses for the lost world. Their mission involves evangelism and discipleship, aiming to reach students with the gospel and train them to become mature followers of Christ. They focus on equipping students to labor in the harvest field for the glory of God. The ministry works through local churches to reach and develop Christ-centered leaders on university campuses globally.
Campus Outreach emphasizes several core values about faith, focusing on glorifying God, building laborers, and evangelizing the campus and the world.
Glorifying God: The ministry’s ultimate purpose is to bring attention to God, aiming to spread a passion for His glory worldwide. They believe that glorifying God is the highest aim, deserving continuous praise, honor, and joy from His creation.
Building Laborers: Inspired by Jesus’ statement about the plentiful harvest but few laborers (Matthew 9:37), Campus Outreach is dedicated to producing Kingdom leaders and laborers. This involves working closely with colleges, universities, churches, families, and individuals to equip leaders who can address various needs and opportunities in the world.
Strategic Campus Ministry: Campus Outreach sees the university campus as a highly strategic field for ministry due to the high population density, availability, openness, and potential impact of students. They believe that college students are particularly receptive and capable of making significant contributions to the Kingdom of God.
Global Evangelism: The ministry’s goal is to influence the world for Christ, contributing to the fulfillment of the Great Commission (Matthew 28:18-20). Campus Outreach aims to train graduates to be leaders in various spheres of influence worldwide, promoting a Gospel-centered impact in all areas of life.
These values underpin their mission to reach students with the gospel, disciple them into mature followers of Christ, and send them out to serve and lead in diverse contexts globally (Campus Outreach) (Campus Outreach).
